I am a senior UX / UI designer and digital product designer with around 15 years of experience working with some of the most forward thinking companies in Scandinavia, Europe and Australia.

Having worked for many years in Scandinavia’s brightest digital agencies i have since used my knowledge and skills in large and medium enterprise designing for some of the country’s most loved digital products and services.

I have extensive experience across a wide range of industries and sectors, some including bank and finance, public transport, public broadcasting, insurance, shipping, energy, law, fashion and telecom to name a few.

I love complexity, and i especially love turning business and technological complexity into measurable value. Having worked early on in my career as a software developer has helped me gain true insight into the possibilities and mechanics of how business can not just exist, but thrive through the clever marriage of design and technology.

My background is in visual communication, interaction design, motion and frontend development. Timeless design principles are just as important to me as the latest developments and ideas within cognitive UX research, lean UX principles, and agile product and service design methodologies. Designing, releasing and iterating on hundreds of products and services into the market across many different industries i have leant how important the smallest details are in terms of meeting the largest of business goals.

My drive comes from finding and solving the deepest problems an organisation and its customers face. With many years of experience in UX research methods, problem framing, analytics frameworks, user testing and facilitation of workshops and sprints with internal stakeholders, my passion is rallying an organisation around the central reasons why churn rates are high, why conversion rates are low or why revenue per user is down.

• Helping to create the country’s first digital online bank.
• Creating the country’s first mobile ticketing platform for the public transport system in Oslo, which also won numerous design awards.
• Redefining and redesigning the fifth largest weather service in the world across multiple platforms and media from TV to apps, to websites.
• Building and leading a team of designers to become the country’s biggest and most awarded UX teams.
• Speaker at Reasons to be creative design conference in Brighton.
• Helping OneCall to achieve the second highest customer satisfaction rating of all companies in the country (just behind Ikea) through excellent user experience.
• Helping the same company to earn the reputation of Norway’s most innovative company through excellent product design.
• Designed the user experience around the first AI chatbot for the telecom industry, which saved the company millions of dollars in customer enquiry related costs.
• Designed many native and hybrid apps that have consistently maintained high app-store / play store ratings.
• Worked with a number of start-ups that have now gone on to raise many rounds of funding.
• Designed and maintained company-wide design systems covering a wide range of platforms and technologies from iOS, Android to react to television (large screen format) and more.

I am always learning, currently i am learning about the ideas behind machine learning and AI, better design sprint and problem framing facilitation, also some software programming in swift, as well as webpack and react.
